In every show, there has to be a protagonist that the audience identifies with, and that surely would be Ralphie Parker. It is through his eyes (his older and younger self) that we glimpse the activities of that certain family during a certain Christmas week of 1938. Shouldering this significant responsibility is Andy Miller. He's hardly offstage for a minute and must keep the intensity of Ralphie's quest palpable from scene to scene. This young actor will impress with his fortitude, comic ability, and stage presence. We couldn't think of a better Ralphie to help tells this Christmas Story.
In his own words:
"My name is Andy Miller. I was born in the year of 2001. I am ten years old. This is my second play. I was Augustus Gloop in Willy Wonka. My dad, Alex Miller, is playing The Old Man. My character, Ralphie Parker, will do just about anything for a bb gun. I especially like being in the fantasy scenes. The jungle scene is one of my favorites."
